A different concept from day one
The first thing our customers notice about Chart Talk is that it works so much differently than any billing software they had ever used before. Recently, one user from Georgia remarked that he had been through 14 systems before finding Chart Talk. The reason Chart Talk is so much different is where we started.
In 1999 Chart Talk was created to give chiropractors an easy interface to use speech recognition software to document their patient encounters. As Chart Talk grew, so did the demands of our users. Where Chart Talk excelled at documentation, we chose to build interfaces with over 15 different billing softwares. When doctors would complete their documentation, they could click a button and create a claim in their billing system.
In today's healthcare system data analysis is key. Programs like MIPS and the Quality Payment Program (QPP) from CMS require reporting that incorporates patient demographic data, billing information, diagnosis, reading from vitals, and completed documents to generate structured and coded reporting. Our clients don't have the full time staff power to gather all of this information from disparate systems, so we decided to give our clients a platform that could give them access to the very latest technology without needing to quadruple their staff or monthly overhead.
